The Kamieskroon Hotel is your Gateway to Namaqualand. The hotel is best known for the annual Namaqualand Photographic Workshops, and offers travellers and workshop participants comfortable accommodation and fine meals in the starkly beautiful mountains and klipkoppe of the Northern Cape. The Namaqua National Park, famous for its remarkable displays of wildflowers, is within easy driving distance from the hotel. The coastal section of the Namaqua National Park and Richtersveld National Park are also great destinations that can be reached easily. The Hotel is noted for its tasty, nutritious meals. Full English breakfast and three course dinners are served in the dining room and light meals are served on the hotel stoep or the nearby hotel shop. Workshops are for both amateurs and professionals. Novices should be familiar with their camera, tripod and instruction booklets. We accept 15 participants per workshop and you are registered for a workshop once we have confirmed receipt of your deposit. Registered participants attend lectures and receive field instruction and evaluation of their work. The price of the workshop includes tuition, accommodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner.
